With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sara Holmes McCullough of Starr, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 18, 2025 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her parent Maybell Davis Holmes; and her siblings, Maydel Brown, Edna Bailey, Cynthia Holmes and Fred Holmes.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Joe McCullough, Sr.; her son Allen James "AJ" McCullough; and her siblings, Mary Whitten (Bunchie), Claudine Adams (Donnie), Pat Williams (Woody), Ralph "Buddy" Holmes (Shera), Ray Holmes (Cindy) and Jackie Holmes (Kim).
Visitation was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel (3205 N Hwy 81, Anderson, SC 29621). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
