Nancy Katherine Butler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Katherine Butler (Sullivans Island, South Carolina), who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Lewis and Catherine Lewis (Black); and her former husband Merrill Butler (Bud). She is survived by: her children, Susan Pitkin (Steve), Julie Vernetti (Phillip), Philip Lundeen (Cleo), Sally Lundeen and Maggie Harty (Ronan); her sister Jackie Wohlwend (Lewis); and her grandchildren, Jenny, Joe, David, Jack, Adam, Ben, Samantha, Nicole, James, Ellen, Sarah and Kate. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Sunrise Presbyterian Church (1753 Central Ave, Sullivan's Island, SC 29482).
