He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Saxon and Carrie Hayman Saxon; and his brothers, Ray Saxon, James "Dan" McQuaid and David McQuaid.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Mae Adkins; his sons, Eric Saxon of Summerton and Brett Saxon (Lori) of Gallipolis; his grandchildren, Ernest Saxon, Svetlana Saxon, Elora Saxon, Tessa Queen (Jeremy) and Bryce Saxon; his great grandchild Oliver Queen; and his siblings, Donald Saxon (Becky), Leona "Sis" Harrison, Betty Saxon and Wanda Jordan.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home (810 2nd Ave, Gallipolis, OH 45631). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
