Alan Winn Obituary
We bid farewell to Alan Winn of Summerville, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 9, 2025 at the age of 42. Alan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bernard and Mae Winn; his brother John Jarrell; and his father-in-law Shelton Stancil. He is survived by: his mother Lisa Ann Jarrell Winn; his wife Bethany Stancil Winn; his father Roger Winn; his children, Libby DuBois, Lindsay Terry (Michael), James DuBois, Quinten Owens and Gracie Winn; his grandchildren, Camryn and Michael; his grandparents, Maude Duff and Bobby Jarrell; his siblings, Jonathan Winn (Rachel) and Nicole Barnes (Dylan); his mother-in-law Toni Stancil; and his close friends, Michael and Misty Poston. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Homes and Crematory, Varnville-Hampton Chapel (1074 Yemassee Hwy, Varnville, SC 29944). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Varnville First Baptist Church (165 E Palmetto Ave, Varnville, SC 29944).
Though Alan left us too soon, he shared the gift of life through organ donation.
