He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel "Pete" Glover and Alma Lee Simmons Glover; and his siblings, Timothy Glover (Rosemary) and Monya Glover. He is survived by: his wife Edna Elaine Glover; his children, Albert A. "A. J." Glover, II (Angelia) and Alaine Glover; his grandchildren, Albert A. "Alex" Glover, III and Camryn Dillings; and his siblings, Alanda Mitchell (Arthur), Samuel Glover (Pernell), Cordell Glover and Dwight Glover.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bethel A. M. E Church (407 S Main St, Summerville, SC 29483).
