She is survived by: her husband Donald Wade Hampton; her stepdaughter Meredith Joan Hampton; her siblings, John Rogers Howell II (Marianne), Susan Howell Moore (James), Julie Howell Hehir (Brian), Gwendolyn Moore Ross, Elizabeth Ford Moore and Jackson Howell Hehir; Katherine Moore Walraven.
