He was predeceased by: his parent Nettie Locklear Patterson; his stepfather Jack Patterson; and his brothers, Johnny Locklear and Dewey Locklear. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his son Wayne (Ann Marie); his grandson Taylor (Juliana); his great grandchild Viviana; and his siblings, Rabion (Mary) and Brenda Lee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
