It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brett Phillip Smith of Summerville, South Carolina, born in North Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on November 7, 2020, at the age of 29, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Pamala Marie Smith; and his grandmother Janet Dieckmann. He is survived by: his father Charles Rhett Smith (Lillian) of Holly Hill; his siblings, Charles Robert Smith of Jedburg, Daniel Lee Smith (Jennifer) of Charleston, Brian Rhett Smith (Tammy) of High Ridge and Aimee Marie Smith of Summerville; and his nieces and nephews, Hayleigh, Hannah, Hayden, Matthew, Clara and Ada.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Brett's memory may be sent to any charity which rescues and cares for animals.
