With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brian Wade Gebhard (Summerville, South Carolina), born in Brooklyn, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2026 at the age of 80. Though Brian may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Brian touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Beneau F. L. Gebhard and Anne Long; and his brothers, Gary L. Gebhard and Irvin L. Brown. He is survived by: his sisters, Denise Bridges of Fort Worth, TX and Vivian Gebhard of Fort Worth, TX; his uncle Woodrow W. Smith; and his aunt Laurie M. Martin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
