She is survived by: her children, Carol Herndon of Summerville and Stephen Jacobs of Satsuma, AL; her brother Pete Mahler of High Point, NC; her grandchildren, Jeremy Jacobs, Kimberly Herndon, Cortney Powell and Max Jacobs; and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Ava, Nikon and Carolina.
