Cheryl Merritt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cheryl Merritt of Summerville, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 24, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert G. Harbeson and Mary Altha Byrd Harbeson; and her sister Jacquelin Allison Bowers. She is survived by: her husband Ronnie C. Merritt; her friends, Cheryl and Ronnie Merritt; her son Jason Merritt (April); her grandchildren, David Lindsay (JoAnna) and Hope Ganiere (Dalton); her great grandchildren, Rosaleigh, Jasyon Lindsay, Ellina and Elam Ganiere; her brother Daniel Harbeson (Kathy); and her nephews, James A. Lewis, Kevin Harbeson, Ryan Harbeson and Andrew Harbeson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Home of Cheryl and Ronnie Merritt (728 Jedburg Rd, Summerville, SC 29483).
Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
