She is survived by: her spouse Thomas "Tom" J. Shiels; her children, Douglas Howell Fehrmann (Elaine McCarthy) of St. Augustine, FL and Pamela Fehrmann Stefan (Kyle Sullivan Stefan) of Mount Pleasant, SC; her stepson Michael Eugene Shiels (Stefanie Crumlet Shiels) of San Antonio, TX; and her grandchildren, Douglas Howell Fehrmann II, Courtney Brambley, Cacie Fehrmann-Waltz, Bert Glenn "Bugs" Utsey, IV, Robert Burns Utsey, Perk Utsey, Clayton Alexander Stefan and Declan M. Shiels. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
