It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Boutwell of Summerville, South Carolina, born in Lowville, New York, who passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Boutwell and Erma Boutwell; and his siblings, Harry Boutwell, Lansing Boutwell and Virginia Hoage.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Boutwell; his son Everett Boutwell (Lori); his grandchildren, Tessa and Griffin; his child Ryan Boutwell (Hillary); his grandchildren, Julianna, Fitzgerald and Naomi; his stepdaughter Lauren Parmenter (Patrick); and his stepgrandchildren, Madeline, Charlotte and James.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Summerville Baptist Church's mission programs, a cause close to David's heart.
