He is survived by: his wife Marion Estelle Varner; his children, James Linning Jr. (Velma) of Summerville, SC. and Vanessa Linning Shuler of Summerville, SC.; and his aunt Daisy B. Limehouse of Summerville. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
