He was predeceased by: his parent Baynard H. Varner; and his sister Patricia "Tricia" Padgett. He is survived by: his mother Betty K. Varner; his wife Christina Varner; his sons, Phillip Varner (Leah), Tyler Varner (Taylor) and Austin Varner; his grandchildren, Mari Lea Varner, Reel Varner, Adaline Varner and Amelia Varner; his sister Tammy Dropp (Jeff); his nephew Dylan; and his caregiver Christine Anderson.
