He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Niebuhr and Evelyn Niebuhr. He is survived by: his wife Joan Niebuhr (Zabarauskas); his children, Dr. Carolyn Goldstein (Ted) of Holtsville, NY, Andrew Niebuhr (Wendy) of Advance, NC and Erica Carminati (Louie) of Summerville, SC; his grandchildren, Kayla Goldstein, Alec Niebuhr and Olivia Carminati; and his siblings, Ronald Niebuhr (Maria) and Linda Humphreys. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
