He was predeceased by : his parents, Mortimer Landesman and Helen Landesman. He is survived by : his wife Helen Landesman of Summerville; his children, Nina Elias (Ben), Brian (Heather) and David; and his grandchildren, Decker Landesman, Ryan Elias and Hailey Elias.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Beaufort National Cemetery (1601 Boundary St, Beaufort, SC 29902).
