It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Hill Goree of Summerville, South Carolina, born in Holly Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dove Hill and Julia Elizabeth Haley Hill. She is survived by: her children, William J. Goree, Jr., Cheryl G. Lisk (Brad) of Summerville, SC and Patricia A. Goree of Summerville, SC; her sister Sara H. Thomas of Blenheim, SC; and her grandchildren, Jenks Lisk (Anna), Haley Romeo (Joseph) and Katie Kellett (Ryan). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
