She was predeceased by : her grandparents, Shaun P. Kielty, Elaine C. Kielty, William E. Strickland and Jane C. Horn. She is survived by : her father William "Chip" Strickland; her mother-in-law Elizabeth of Summerville, SC; her mother Brenda Kielty of Portland, ME; her siblings, John Giddens of Freeport, ME and Hannah Santy (Steve) of Stratham, NH; and her close friend Wayne Doyle of Summerville, SC..

A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Anglican Church (316 W Carolina Ave, Summerville, SC 29483). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Glenwood Cemetery (763 Main St, Ashby, MA 01431).

In lieu of flowers, donations in Emily's name may be made to Grace Home-Hebron Colony Ministries or to St. Paul's Anglican Church.
