She was predeceased by : her parents, Eva Perry Messervy Knight and Wilkie Tilden Messervy; her son Joseph Cone, Jr.; her stepfather Olfon Knight; and her siblings, Mary Messervy, Helen Alberghini, Wilkie Messervy, Dorothy Slaydon, Horace Messervy and Carl Knight.
She is survived by : her husband Joseph M. Cone; her children, Joyce Cone Lemacks of Hanahan, Johnny Cone of Round, Janet Cone of Asheville, Jeff Cone of Summerville and Jennifer Cone-Craven (Kenny) of Summerville; her grandchildren, Samantha Cowart of Daniel Island, Ashley Cowart of Hanahan and Stacey Craven (Stephen) of Summerville; and her great grandchild Ella Grace. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
