He is survived by : his wife Betty McManus Murdaugh; and his children, Linda Hutson of Summerville, Sharon Johnson of Summerville and Harold "Joey" J. Murdaugh, Jr. (Lisa). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 29 great grandchildren.
