He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence L. Garrett and Leitha Mae Chance Garrett. He is survived by: his wife Linda Benton Garrett; his children, Glinda Gale Garrett of New Hope, Rev. Debra James (Michael) of Moncks Corner and Rev. Norman Dale Garrett (Kristen) of St. George; his niece Kathy Cornatzer (Kelly); and his brothers, Lewis Garrett of Moncks Corner and Frank Garrett (Geraldine) of Macedonia. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
