He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph Pearce and Meta Hussey Pearce; and his brother Ewart Pearce. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Beatrice Gillingham Pearce; his children, Kerry Contreraz (Richard) and Kurtis Pearce (Madeleine Hirsch); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Kelly and David Ivan; and his siblings, Hector Pearce (Marilyn), Calvin Pearce (Jean), Harvey Pearce (Carolyn), Eunice Rowe (Doug), Edna Spence (Calvin) and Sherry Giles (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Ivan's honor to a charity of one's choice.
