We are sad to announce that, on August 10, 2023, at the age of 85, James Skinner Harrell Jr. of Summerville, South Carolina, born in Sumter, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Skinner Harrell and Alice Walker Harrell; his former wife Millicent Tanner Alford; his daughter Kimberly Ann Harrell McDaniel; and his nephew Robert Gregory Metts.
He is survived by: his fiancée Rose Myers Cummings; his children, Leisa Alford Harrell and James Skinner Harrell, III (Laurie); his grandchildren, Lindsay McDaniel Decker (Kent), Hayley Harrell Nixon (Ben), Jamie Harrell Rowell (Liz) and James Skinner Harrell, IV (Emma); his great grandchildren, Brody James Decker and Emerson Rowell; his sister Mary Leila Harrell Stewart; his nephews, Connor Stewart, Hoke Stewart and Ricky Metts; and his niece Misty Lamb (Ian).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church.
