He was predeceased by: his brothers, Dan Edward Overby, Jr. and Dale Walker Overby. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Friar Overby; his daughter Katherine Smith (Donnie) of Bonneau, SC; his grandchildren, Carter, Hunter and Addison Smith; and his sister Debra Ann Overby. He is also survived by three sisters-in-law and their spouses, and one nephew.
