He was predeceased by: his wife Kay Vess Roettger; and his brothers, Daniel Roettger and Bill Roettger. He is survived by: his cousin Debbie Schellenbach (Ed); his nieces, Jennifer Carder and Sherri Salyer; his sister-in-law Betty Vess Cash (John); his nephew Matthew; and his niece Megan Cash.
