He is survived by: his parents, James Francis Ross and Kathryn Merline Searcy; his wife Nancy Hanbury Darley; his children, Stephen and Stephanie; his brothers, Kenneth and Matthew; his nephews, Jonathan, Michael and Timothy; and his niece Sarah.
