He was predeceased by: his daughter Rebecca "Becky" Shaw. He is survived by: his wife Anabel Rockwood McLaughlin; his daughters, Susan Jane Kirk and Sandra Jean Maylock (Eugene); his grandchildren, Cliff Shaw (Rachael), Mat Shaw and Devin Kirk; his stepgrandchildren, Gabrielle Maylock and Gavin Maylock; his great grandchild Jacob James Shaw; his siblings, Richard S. McLaughlin, Lois Jane Anderson, Peggy Olson (David) and Charles; and his sister-in-law Joan Rockwood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
