We announce the death of Jane Ann Gaffney of Summerville, South Carolina, who passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 87. Jane Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Joseph Kolthoff and Martina Birgen Kolthoff; her husband Robert Paul Gaffney; and her cousin Marilyn Joerger. She is survived by: her brother Michael Kolthoff (Jeannette) of Spooner, WI; her children, Robin Sauter of Summerville and Christopher Gaffney (Teresa) of Ridgeville; and her grandchildren, Michael, Anna Sauter, Nicole and Ryan Gaffney. She is also survived by her loving family, life-long friends.
