She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth McDowell; her father Charles E.; and her daughter-in-law Rhonda McDowell. She is survived by: her children, Bailey (Velma Burbage Bailey), Patrick McDowell, Pamela Loe of Summerville and Paula Floyd (Joseph) of Mint Hill, NC.; her grandchildren, Amber Walker (Scott), Morgan Lotfy (Alfred), Stephanie, Stephen Spires, Austin and Manning Floyd; her great grandchildren, Adalynn Grace Lotfy, Annalise Shay Lotfy, A. J. Lotfy, Hanna Parker and Lyla Santiago; her great great grandchild Olive Loggins; and her sisters, Shirley Carroll and Linda Hadden.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (7345 Jefferies Hwy, Walterboro, SC 29488). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
