He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Glover (Marshall); his parents, Harold Glover and Mary Shaw (Edward Shaw, III); and his grandson Joshua James Carnegie. He is survived by: his children, Joy Murphy (Ken), Julie Glover (Tony) and John H. Glover, Jr.; his grandchildren, Trisha Woltjen (Kyle), Sean Little (Carolyn), Markessa Griffin, Brandon Griffin (Allyson), Mary Catherine Hughes (Steve) and Johnny Glover; and his great grandchildren, Dax, Bryson, Aria, Colin, Ian, Mason, Tripp, Delaney, Gio, Mia and Benjamin.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Olthof Funeral Home (1050 Pennsylvania Ave, Elmira, NY 14904). A prayer will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Peter and Paul's Cemetery (623 Franklin St, Elmira, NY 14904).
