With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Pye (Summerville, South Carolina), who passed away on March 6, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pye and Margaret Pye. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Pye; his son Patrick Pye (Tammy); his siblings, Rodney Pye (Janice), Debra Taylor (Pete) and Lisa Quick (Clyde); his nieces, Janet Dangerfield (James) and Rhonda Keenan (Jeff); and his nephew James Taylor (Nicole). He is also survived by five great nieces; and two great nephews.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made to Summerville Baptist Church or the Joseph R. Pye Legacy Scholarship in his memory. Scholarship contributions may be made online.
