She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dr. Richard Carlisle Weaver and Laura Meares Weaver; her husband Clinton F. Dodson Jr.; her sons, Carl Dodson (Barbara) and Doug Dodson (Patty) of Moncks Corner, SC; and her grandchildren, Kellie Marie Brown, Clinton Thomas Dodson, Jared Weaver Dodson and Whitney Laura Dodson Rush. She was also cherished by goddaughter and a godson; and several nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's Summerville Anglican Church at 316 W. Carolina Ave., Summerville, SC 29483.
