She was predeceased by: her parents, Estel Clayton Ayers and Virginia Missouri King Ayers; her sister Brenda K. Ayers; and her pet Johnny Depp Clark. She is survived by: her children, Christy M. Ashbaugh of Goose Creek, Justin S. Clark, Jenny of James Island, Matthew E. Clark and Roxy of Summerville; her grandchildren, Cory Ashbaugh, Kyle Ashbaugh (Hannah), Caitlin Ashbaugh, Devon Clark, Jordan Clark, Tyler Clark, Aiden Clark and Liam Clark; her cousins, Becca, Mike and Barry; her sister-in-law Robin Clark; and her pet Oscar.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to The Ark of South Carolina, 502 W 5th North St., Summerville, SC 29483.
