Linda will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Linda by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Linda is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Linda’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Boan and Ruth Hannah Boan; her husband Vance Morgan Edens III; and her son Vance M. Edens IV. She is survived by: her daughter Sally Ann Grubb; her son-in-law Edward Grubb Jr.; her grandson Dr. Wesley T. Blumenburg (Samantha Medved); her stepgreat-granddaughter Oaklynn; her sister Dianne Martin; and her niece Cindy McElveen (Robert). She is also survived by extended family members and many dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Beaufort National Cemetery (1601 Boundary St, Beaufort, SC 29902).
In Lieu of Flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to The Village of Summerville Assisted Living, 201 W. 9th North St. Summerville SC 29483, in loving memory of Linda B. Edens ("The Pink Flamingo Lady"). Linda treasured the friendships she made during her time there, and the family would be deeply grateful for donations made in her honor.
