He is survived by: his wife Vickie L. Tipton of Summerville, SC; his children, Mark Tipton (Leah) of Wyomissing, PA, Robert Tipton (Erin) of Acworth, GA, Franklin Smoak (Angie) of Summerville, SC, Stephanie Caron (Christopher) of Summerville, SC and Gwendolyn Perry (Roger) of Ridgeville, SC; and his brother Jeff Tipton of Palm Desert, CA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
