She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dominic Bernardi and Florence Constance Staranowicz Bernardi; her husband George A. Martens; her daughter Ann Marie Norris (David); and her brother Gerald Bernardi (late Pam).
She is survived by: her children, Connie Burnett of Palm Desert, CA, Paul Martens (Emily) of Nolensville, TN, Patty Swift (John) of Maiden, NC and Caroline Martens of Summerville; and her brother-in-law John Martens (Maggie) of Lake Geneva, WS.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; 3 nephews and 4 nieces.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her name to Summerville Catholic School, 226 Black Oak Blvd., Summerville, SC 29485.
