With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Collier Edwards of Summerville, South Carolina, who passed away on October 5, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Henry Collier and Katie Pendergrass Collier; her husband George Thomas Edwards; and her siblings, Ellen C. Barnette, Grace C. Roberson and Charles Junior Collier.

She is survived by: her children, Judy E. Houston (Robert), Patricia E. French (Bobby), Tammy E. Davis, George D. Edwards (Gloria), Timothy S. Edwards and Anthony G. Edwards (Dona); and her siblings, Dorothy C. Howard, Maggie C. Sawyer (Wilson), Henry D, Pete Collier (Ann), Jeffrey D. Collier (Traci) and Mack Collier (Rose). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
