It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Louise Saunders of Summerville, South Carolina, who passed away on March 5, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Nelson and Mary Floyd Nelson; her husband James Larry Saunders; her sons, Larry Dean Saunders and Michael David Saunders; her brothers, Billy Nelson and Allen Rakestraw; and her granddaughter Kimberly Cook.

She is survived by: her children, James Lee Saunders of Summerville, SC and Linda Kaye Saunders of Summerville, SC; and her sister Lois Campbell. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
