She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover C. Haigler and Virginia V. Barfield; her husband Ralph M. Alexander, Sr.; her children, Cleveland V. Alexander and Ellen Abbigail Austin; and her grandson Jason Eric Dailey.
She is survived by: her children, Frances Austin "Betsy", Margie Kowalczyk (Wallace), Beverly Stephens, Ralph M. Alexander, Jr. (Annette) and James Alexander (Tama). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
