It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nathaniel Cooper (Summerville, South Carolina), who passed away on July 27, 2025, at the age of 22, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Nathaniel leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his mother Kelly Cooper; and his great-grandparent Windall Chavis. He is survived by: his father Jonathan Powell; his siblings, Trenton David Powell and Emmalyn Skylar Powell; and his grandmothers, Cheryl Renee Cooper and Kelly Ann Powell (Horis Powell). He is also survived by his father, extended family, countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the James A. Dyal Funeral Home (303 S Main St, Summerville, SC 29483). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel (303 S Main St, Summerville, SC 29483).
