She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Damron and Francis Harrison Damron. She is survived by: her husband John Schoonover; her son Jonathan Schoonover; her stepsons, Dane Schoonover (Evelyn) and Gareth Schoonover (Megan); and her siblings, Thomas Damron, Gloria Vaughn and Doris Cox.
