With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter John Ripoli of Summerville, South Carolina, who passed away on May 14, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Peter John had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Peter John may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Gillen Ripoli and Jack Ripoli. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peg" Ripoli of Summerville, SC; his brother Paul Ripoli (JoAnn Lavatelli) of Butler, NJ; his niece Jessica Stender (Kurt); his great-nephews, Jack and Karl Stender of Boonton, NJ; and his niece Julia Ripoli (Michael Bromley) of Verona, NJ.. He is also survived by many cousins, other relatives, and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McAlister-Smith Funeral Home (869 St James Ave, Goose Creek, SC 29445). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Northwood Church (4020 2nd Ave, Summerville, SC 29486).
