He is survived by: his wife Aymee Pérez; his children, Richard Pérez (Emily Peters) and Samantha Pérez (Scott Rodgers); his grandson Emilio Peters-Pérez; his sister Letty Santiago; and his nephews, Edwardo Santiago, Alexander Santiago and Reinaldo Pérez.
