He is survived by: his son Bobby Bennett (Kathy); his grandchildren, Hannah Stillman (Corey), Robert Bennett (Gentry), Katie Freeman, Ryan Bennett and Meredith Freeman; his sister Pam; and his brother-in-law Tim Baker. He is also survived by his five grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the James A. Dyal Funeral Home (303 S Main St, Summerville, SC 29483). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dorchester Memory Gardens (11000 Dorchester Rd, Summerville, SC 29485).
