He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Ponte and Evelyn Ponte; his wife Dolores A. Ponte; and his brother Manuel Ponte. He is survived by: his children, Doug Ponte of Eutawville, SC, Lisa P. Richmond of Chapel Hill, NC and Dana P. Katz of Summerville, SC; and his brother James Ponte of Lake Tahoe. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
