We are sad to announce that, on January 17, 2023, at the age of 85, Robert Duncan Sneed of Summerville, South Carolina, born in Memphis, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theo Wayne and Pauline Masdon Sneed; his children, Andrew Sneed (Myra), Kristin Sneed Taylor (Bernard), Kevin Sneed (Maria) and Robert Sneed (Angela); his brothers, Richard Sneed, Earl Sneed and Theodore Sneed; and his former wife Janice Baldauf Sneed.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Sullivan Sneed; his grandchildren, Rachel Sneed Zinn (John), Tyler Sneed, Alexis Sneed, Taryn Sneed, Christina Sneed, Francesca Sneed and Isabella Sneed; his stepdaughters, Julia Torrey (Michael), Sarah Krankota (Jason) and Katie Vail; his stepgrandchildren, John Krankota, Beth Krankota, Peter Krankota, Margaret Torrey, Charlie Vail and Ellie Vail; and his siblings, Paula Harris and Michael Sneed (Leigh). He is also survived by companion to his many friends and golfing partners.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Vincent DePaul Society of St. John the Beloved, Meals on Wheels of Summerville, or So Others Might Eat, Washington, DC, will be gratefully accepted.
