He was predeceased by: his grandparents, George P. Atwell and Nannie Crockett Atwell; and his mother Lorraine Estepp. He is survived by: his wife Ginger Lee Shaw; his children, Alexis and Jason (Elisa); his grandchildren, Adalyn and Evan; and his brother Donald Heflin (Lauren).
