She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Barker; her parents, Floyd Bowers and Bessie Bowers; her grandparents, John, Florence Cantrell, James and Harriet Bowers; her brother Richard Barker; and her granddaughter Angie Thommen.

She is survived by: her children, Dennis Barker of Hanahan, SC, Larry Barker of Ladson, SC, Bobby Joe Barker of Summerville, SC and Shirleen Barker Boone of Brooksville, FL; her sisters, Sybil Kessler of Charleston, SC and Peggy Prosser of Homosassa, FL; her granddaughter Tiffany Deas; and her great grandchild Skyler Deas. She is also survived by dog, cat, and birds.
