We are sad to announce that, on August 18, 2019, at the age of 80, Thomas Earl Wieda (Summerville, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Wieda and Marge Dawson Wieda; his siblings, Jack and Betty (Goodsmith); his wife Mary Kelly Wieda (Maisie); and his stepson Jim McCard (Christine) of Argyll.

He is survived by: his children, Cheralaine Dougherty (John) of Awendaw, Shelby Bowles, Stewart Lee Bowles and Thomas Wieda of Jacksonville; and his grandchildren, Natalie, Regan, Allen and Wilma. He is also survived by cousins, a niece, and a nephew.

Memorials may be made to Christ Church Pastoral Care Fund, 2304 Highway 17 North, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29466 or VFW Post at 10154 Bell Wright Rd, Summerville SC 29483.
